An investigation into heart rate

This morning, the Doves have been working scientifically. They were already aware that exercise causes your heart rate to increase, having done this in LKS2. Today, they have independently designed a line of enquiry around what influences this increase. The children have looked for correlations between your height and your heart rate and have investigated whether certain activities (running, hurdles, jumping jacks, burpees) will raise their heart rates more than others. They have completed three tests, taken the mean and graphed their findings.

Top work, Doves.
