Armistice Day.

This week we have talked about remembrance day. We found out that it marks the very day that World War One ended in 1918.  We also talked about the Purple poppy. We discovered the purple poppy is often worn to remember animals that have been victims of war. Animals like horses, dogs and pigeons were often drafted into the war effort. Today we took part in a two-minute silence, at 11am to remember those who have died.
