EYFS – Muddy Puddle Day Spring 2

Posted on by marsdenv

Today both Bluebirds and Robins had their ‘Muddy Puddle Day’ which was related to our topic of ‘Changes.’  We had lots of exciting activities to do – and thankfully the weather was very kind to us!  We planted some seeds and talked all about what plants need to grow.  We looked at the weather and how it changes, then on maps we discussed what the weather would be like in different countries.  This finished with children performing an entertaining weather report.  We completed an ice experiment where the children had to think of the fastest way to save a dinosaur from the ice.  Some ideas were very original!  Finally, we marbled some paper for a secret reason… all will be revealed!  Take a look at our photos below – there was even a little time to just have some fun in the sun.
