Year 1 Homework
In the children’s book bags tonight there is a maths worksheet. Please can you explain to your child what they need to do again and let them complete the task independently. The children need to count the fingers shown and write the amount. They then need to count the different types of fish. Please mark the work with your child and note any misconceptions. Homework is due in on Monday 17th September.
Year 2 Homework
The children have completed their first Grammar Hammer of year two today. The teachers were really impressed with the effort all the children put in to having a go at new grammar. The children will be taught the new vocabulary and grammar terminology throughout the year. Attached is a blank copy of the Grammar Hammer and the answers. Please go through with your child anything they found tricky. These sheet do not need to be returned to school.
