Tonight your child will bring home a library book for you to share with them over the weekend. In addition to this, your child will also bring home a reading scheme book. These are currently picture books to encourage you to talk about the stories. Within these books, there is a parent guide that enables you to follow and ask appropriate questions about the book. We have also put the Home School Diary in Book Bags for you to sign and comment when your child has completed the books. There is also a note which explains different reading skills along with some key question cards to support you when reading with your child. These are for your use – please keep these at home.
