Following on from our Muddy Puddle theme we would like your child to write the story of the Three little Pigs. Please use the picture cues to order the story and encourage your child to explain their sentence before they write it. The children have been working really hard too with their phonics. We have learnt all the letter sounds A – Z and over this term we have learnt many new digraphs – ch, sh, th, ng. ai, oa and oo, oo and even the trigraph igh. As your child writes their sentences, please encourage them to break down the sounds, using finger spaces and attempt to use a full stop.
This weeks shared story is called At Dusk. Please encourage your child to read this throughout the week looking and reading as many key words within the story.
