The Big Battery Hunt is over! A HUGE well done and thank you to everyone who has contributed to the competition. So many of you have brought in THOUSANDS of dead and used batteries, and so many of you have done a fantastic job of helping us to count and recycle these too. Overall, we collected a whopping 19,000 Batteries!!!! Any lucky winners (schools and individuals) will be contacted by Duracell over the coming weeks. Fingers crossed Team Tranmere!
Don’t forget, you can still recycle any dead and used batteries you may have at home by putting them in our battery bin or, by taking them straight to your local battery recycling point. Every time you choose to recycle your dead batteries instead of throwing them in landfill, you help to stop pollution and save our planet.
