Today, Herons took part in an interactive ‘I Like Myself’ anti-bullying workshop. The children were reminded that they are each different and that this makes them special. To remind them of this, they learnt a song called ‘It’s Good to Be Me’. The children are looking forward to singing it to their families after school!
The children were introduced to 3 characters – Bob, Tom and Tilly. Each of them had their own unique talents and had lots of friends but sometimes people said things to them which made them feel upset. The children were taught strategies that they could use in this situation and advised the characters as to what they could do.
