KS1 Muddy Puddles Day and Exit Point

Today KS1 had a fantastic combined Muddy Puddles Day/Exit Point, concluding our topic of ‘Time Travellers.’

The children have absolutely loved this topic so it was lovely to finish with such a practical activity that summed up our learning this half term.

Today, Alfresco Learning delivered our wonderfully engaging workshop. The children had ‘hands on’ experience of making wattle and daub walls. They looked at the properties of materials and attempted to design and make their own bakery belonging to Thomas Farriner. They had to consider the materials strength and waterproof properties. Would their bakery keep Thomas dry?

KS1 thoroughly enjoyed their workshop today and luckily the great British weather was perfect too! Here are some photos of our learning today…
