We’ve had a focus on poetry today…and we haven’t had to write a thing! All of the writing has already been done for us, we’ve just had to select the words that we wanted to highlight to represent what we needed our reader to understand. We took articles from today’s newspapers and created a ‘blackout’ effect by using different techniques to pick out key words or to construct the sentences that we wanted. We’ve covered all of the big headlines through poetry and art…it’s almost like a Radio 4 show waiting to be made!
