Thank you to everyone who contributed to the complete success of Tranmere’s World Book Day celebrations yesterday: parents for organising costumes -the wacky and the ingenious- the children for involving themselves in the activities planned across the day, the teachers for planning all of the literary-linked fun, Miss Bell for organising the wall-to-wall-Wally teacher costumes and thanks you to our governors for their book-recommendations and Mrs Whelan’s work colleagues for their incredibly kind book donations -very gratefully received in classes across the school!
