My name is Marie Stout. My youngest son, Samuel, has just left Year 6 and my older 3 children were also Tranmere Park pupils until they moved to high school.
I sit on the Pupil Support and Pay sub-committees and am also the Safeguarding Governor for the school, alongside Rob Fordyce.
Over the last few years, I have particularly enjoyed being part of the team that recruits and supports members of staff, and now focuses on policies for pupil support. We have a fantastic staff team at our school and watching them and the children producing fantastic results year after year is very satisfying.
I am also lucky enough to make frequent visits to school and spend time with the pupils. They never fail to surprise me with their marvellous manners and intelligent observations, whatever the task in hand!
As Governors, we will continue to support and challenge wherever we feel our input is useful, with an emphasis on health and well-being for all as a priority.
