Celebrating Sir David Attenborough in Bluebirds

Today we’ve been getting ready to celebrate Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday tomorrow!

We’ve been learning about his incredible life achievements and the important work he has done for animals, plants, and the natural world. We also watched parts of his *Life in Colour* documentary and were amazed to see him in action!

To finish our celebrations, we took part in some Sir David Attenborough-themed birthday activities. We made party hats and birthday cards, and completed a fun birthday counting task.

Our most memorable part of our day however, was just as we were about to head home, a robin bird flew into our classroom to say hello. For a moment, we all got a real life insight into what it would be like to be Sir David Attenborough!
