Counting in 3s

In our practical maths lesson, Year 2 practised counting in 3s, both forwards and backwards. We sang songs to help us to remember the pattern and we played games that challenged us to count out loud. We then used images of Numicon that represented threes to support us in visualising the sequences before writing them out forwards and backwards. We will continue to practise counting in 2s, 5s, 10s and 3s over the year.
