Dt in Skylarks- Testing our design using spaghetti and playdough!
Last week in DT, the children designed their own towers, utilising the strengthening techniques that we have been learning about. Today, the children tested their designs, using spaghetti and playdough.
The children will now review their initial design based on their findings, before making it out of paper later today.
The children really impressed us, not just with their knowledge of strengthening techniques and the vocabulary they were using, but also for their fantastic team work skills. The children worked hard to follow our 'Tranmere Talk Rules' and we noticed lots of Oracy champions in our classroom. Well done Skylarks!
