Exit Point - Making Towers (Skylarks)

As our exit point, the children created towers in their groups using paper and masking tape. They utilised the skills that they have learnt throughout our topic to make a freestanding and stable tower. We were impressed with the children's knowledge of strengthening techniques and of how they utilised the vocabulary that we have been learning to develop their ideas as a group. 

It was also lovely to see how the children's oracy skills have developed with lots of fantastic turn-taking, speaking and listening to their peers. Here are our completeted (or almost completed) towers:
