Falcons - Practical Perimeter

This week, Falcons began exploring the concept of perimeter as part of our Maths learning. Building on our prior knowledge of length and measurement, we discussed what perimeter means and how it relates to the distance around a shape. We looked at a range of examples together before putting our understanding into practice. The children enjoyed investigating objects around the classroom, measuring their sides and calculating their perimeters.
