Falcons - Royal Opera Singing Workshop

Our class recently had the fantastic opportunity to take part in a live singing lesson from the Royal Ballet and Opera!

The children were given a front-row seat to highlights from The Magic Flute, enjoying beautiful performances by Royal Opera artists. They loved meeting the characters, including Prince Tamino, Princess Pamina and the dramatic Queen of the Night, bringing the story to life in an engaging and memorable way.

One of the highlights was singing along with children from across the country, which created a real sense of connection and excitement. The class was also inspired by meeting professional opera singers and learning more about their craft.

This live lesson made opera fun, accessible and truly engaging for all. It helped to build the children’s confidence and creativity, while supporting key areas of the music curriculum such as listening, performing and understanding music. A wonderful experience that we won’t forget!
