LKS2 Muddy Puddle Day
Today, we spent time outside completing our muddy puddle day. The children completed three activities relating to our Topic - Volcanoes, Earthquakes & Rivers. The children built mud volcanoes and watched them erupt. They learnt how to use a seismograph and how we measure an earthquake using the Richter scale. They then built their own small models using different equipment and resources to see if it would stay standing during an earthquake. The children also spent time using natural resources to build the River Aire which was tested at the end of the session and it worked!
