Teddy Bears' Picnic - Topic Exit Point

To celebrate the end of our Feed Me Please (Planting and Growing) topic, we finished with a very special Teddy Bears’ Picnic.

In the morning, the children helped to prepare their own snacks, practising important skills such as spreading, cutting, grating, tearing, sprinkling and making choices about what they would like to eat. This linked closely to our learning about where food comes from and how we prepare it.

In the afternoon, we took our teddies outside and enjoyed our picnic together on the banks. The children had a lovely time sharing their food, talking with friends, and enjoying the outdoor space with their cuddly companions.
