Assemblies

Whole school assemblies are held four times per week. Assemblies enable members of the school community to come together and allow us to support the children’s personal development in a variety of ways. Collective worship provides the opportunity to reflect upon the broad traditions of a range of world faiths in a manner that is appropriate for all pupils and staff, whatever their religion. It introduces the pupils to different forms of worship and encourages them to appreciate the beliefs and values of others. Parents have the right to withdraw their child from collective worship if they wish, although they will be involved in whole school assemblies.

Monday – What’s in the News?

Tuesday – KS2 Reading assembly.

Thursday – Special mention assembly.

Friday – Class assemblies or parent drop-ins, (each class have one of each scheduled throughout the academic year) performance assemblies or whole school singing.
