Maths homework

Posted on by beestinh

This week in maths we have looked at ways of representing 4 & 5, whilst finding out how to make the number 4 or 5.  Please complete the sheets all about 4 and 5. If you would like an extra challenge have a go at using the ladybird sheet to show different ways of making 5. Please return any homework with your child’s name on the top in the book bag on Monday.

We are also impressed with the way the children are enjoying our guided reading sessions. This week we have practised blending and segmenting words using j, v and w. We have also recapped on our tricky words (Red Words) is, to, of, go, the. In addition to this we have learnt are, we, you, into. Please encourage your child to read these words within the text or alternatively make them into flash cards and hide them around the house and then read them together.

We hope you have a lovely weekend and hope to see you at the Christmas fair.
