Entry Point - Famous People from the Past (Famous Nurses)

This half term our topic is 'People from the Past - Famous Nurses.' As part of our topic work, we will be learning about three famous nurses - Florence Nightingale, Mary Seacole and Edith Cavell. 

Today, the children completed a carousel of activities where they researched these famous people. They used books, Ipads and information sheets to find out more about them. The children have already learnt that Florence Nightingale is named after the place she was born and that Mary Seacole was born in Jamaica. They also learnt that Edith Cavell helped soldiers in WW1 escape the battlefield. We can't wait to find out more!
