Computing in Eagles Class

Posted on by wrightr

This half term, the children are extending their learning of algorithms in computing. Today, the children have explored Bee-Bots and had tinkering time to see how they work. They then programmed a human Bee-Bot around the classroom. They had to remember that these devices do not have brains and will only follow the instructions they have been given, even if this does mean walking into a cupboard!

The children then programmed a Bee-Bot to visit different destinations on a Bee-Bot mat. They worked in teams to complete this task and began to bebug when they made a mistake. The children were extremely enthusiastic and really enjoyed today’s lesson.
