This morning in Red Kites, we have spent some time focusing on the three times table. In particular, we have learned about fact families, discovering that once we know one multiplication sum, we can answer a lot more! After this, we had a go at creating some different 3 times table fact families. We rolled the dice to get the number we would be timsing by 3, then using our white boards, wrote down all the connecting multiplication and division facts. Some of us even took on the challenge of rolling dices that would give us sums as big as 20 x 3!
