On Saturday, both our Year 4 and Year 5 football teams travelled to the Grammar School at Leeds to compete in an annual tournament. Both teams had to play various different schools and then compete in play-offs and finals.
Our Year 4 team did really well, showed some fantastic skills and worked really well as a team. I was thoroughly impressed with the talent we have in our team.
Our Year 5 team played fantastically and won the tournament! The GSAL teachers were massively impressed with all of our players. Everyone played really well and worked together as a team.
Both teams even managed to stick with the ‘Fortnite’ dance move ban unless they had scored a goal! The organisers came up to me at the end of the tournament to congratulate me on bringing two great teams who showed sportsmanship, determination and were very polite. Well done, Team Tranmere!
