Maths- Measuring in m and cm

Herons class enjoyed a practical maths lesson exploring measurement in centimetres and metres. Using rulers, tape measures and metre sticks, the children measured a variety of objects around the classroom and playground. They carefully discussed which measuring tool would be the most suitable for each item, developing their understanding of accurate measurement while building their reasoning and teamwork skills. It was a fantastic hands-on lesson that brought maths to life!
