Woodpeckers - Planet Earth Oracy Lesson

In Woodpeckers, the children worked in pairs to research an area of our topic; volcanoes, earthquakes or rivers. They spent time looking through books and on webpages for information. The children then presented this information to the class using our Tranmere Talk Rules. The children had to focus on the speaking and listening skills. They spoke in clear, loud voices and use expression in their voices. The audience listened carefully to the speaker and asked interesting questions to find out more.
