Woodpeckers - Temples, Tombs and Treasures Entry Point

In Woodpeckers, we started off our new topic; Temples, Tombs and Treasures by mummifying a tomato. The children worked in groups to learn the important steps of mummification. They had to cut the top of the tomato off using a knife, scoop out the insides using a spoon, clean the tomato using antibacterial gel, fill it with salt and wrap it in tissue. The children then place the wrapped tomato in a sealed plastic bag. We can’t wait to show you the results!
