Today, a Year 4 and a Year 5 team competed in an Aireborough Learning Partnership football tournament against lots of different local schools. Both teams did really well and most importantly had fun!
Year 4’s – Well done to everyone who participated, you kept your heads up and really did Tranmere proud and showed some great skill! It was great to see you all enjoying yourself and representing our school so well.
Year 5’s – The rightful winners! Well done to everyone who played, you all did amazingly well and a big shout out for keeping a clean sheet throughout the whole competition. I just want to apologise for the confusion at the end and I will look into what happened. You did actually win the whole tournament and we will be receiving our trophy and winners medals soon, which I will present to you in assembly. A huge well done!
Thank you to all of the parents that brought the children down and supported us, sorry it was so cold! Also, apologies for the lack of pictures, unfortunately the iPad ran out of battery.
