During the final week of last half term, Puffins went to Leeds University to round off the students “Around the World in 80 minutes” Project.
The children visited Pakistan where they had their names written in Urdu and then learned some interesting facts about the country.
We were then whisked to Ghana and the children got to make some Ghanaian masks.
Finally our last stop was Japan where we watched a display of Japanese dancing and then had the opportunity to learn the dance for ourselves. (The teaching staff thoroughly enjoyed this too)
After lunch we were treated to a show put on by the students with short performances based on different parts of the world.
Puffins had a fabulous day sampling all the different activities.
